A Purposeful Approach
For the Chiarli Group 1860, sustainability is not a goal but a path that is built over time, with attention, competence and respect for the territory. Each vineyard, each harvest and each cellar require specific solutions: there are no pre-established models, but a continuous balance between quality, innovation and environmental responsibility.
Sustainability in Balance
In our vineyards, this commitment translates into targeted management: integrated pest control, rootstocks selected for drought resilience, and Agriculture 4.0 tools that allow for real-time monitoring of climate and water resources. In certain areas, we have established "organic laboratories" (experimental plots), where sustainable practices are tested on a controlled scale to reduce environmental impact and enhance the vitality of the soil and vines.
Measurable Commitment
At our historic headquarters in Modena, Chiarli continues its commitment through ongoing investments in technology, energy efficiency, and food safety. technology, energy efficiency and food safetyThe latest modernizations have improved production performance and reduced our environmental footprint, while the IFS Higher Level certification confirms our adherence to the highest international quality standards.

A Bond with Modena that Goes Beyond Production
Chiarli has been part of Modena for over 160 years. This bond is not merely historical, nor is it limited to the walls of our facility: it is expressed in our daily relationship with the land, the people who work here, and the community that inhabits it. 160 years. A bond that isn't limited to history, nor is it limited to the factory walls: it expresses itself in the daily relationship with the local area, with the people who work there, and with the community that lives there.
The social dimension is a pillar of the Equalitas certification, and for Chiarli, it is not just a formal requirement: it is the perspective through which the company views its role in the city. To this end, the Group is exploring how it can contribute to the quality of urban spaces — through the enhancement of green areas and the care of the built environment in the areas where we operate. This commitment is still evolving, yet it remains consistent with a long-term vision: to remain a living part of Modena, and not just producers of Lambrusco. quality of urban spaces —through the enhancement of greenery and the care of the built environment in the areas where it operates.
