High marks for Cleto Chiarli from the Falstaff Magazine

Falstaff magazine has honored Cleto Chiarli for its outstanding performance in the Trophy Sparkling 2023, a prestigious award dedicated to sparkling wines presented by the German travel and culinary publication, Falstaff.

Two remarkable labels achieved impressive scores of 93 and 92, namely the Vigneto Cialdini Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro 2022 and the Vecchia Modena Premium Lambrusco di Sorbara DOC 2022. These two dry sparkling wines exemplify the essence of Lambrusco, renowned for its elegance and distinctiveness.

The Vigneto Cialdini Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro 2022 stands out with its rich color and aromatic profile, delivering a soft and austere palate. This wine is crafted using traditional methods, involving a 36-hour maceration at 10°-12° C, must racking, and refrigeration. It undergoes a slow fermentation process (prise de mousse) in an autoclave.

As for the Vecchia Modena Premium Lambrusco di Sorbara DOC 2022, it boasts prominent notes of strawberry and underbrush. On the palate, it offers a fresh, penetrating, mineral character, creating a velvety yet dynamic sensation. The wine is produced through light maceration, followed by must racking and refrigeration, concluding with a slow frothing process in an autoclave.

These two wines not only embody the excellence of Cleto Chiarli but also celebrate the Lambrusco tradition, representing it as elegant and easily identifiable.
